On October 30, 2023, the Zadig team welcomed the fifth anniversary of its founding and the 888th day of the open source project. At this milestone, we bid a fond farewell to the mature Zadig 1.0 and welcome the arrival of Zadig 2.0 with great enthusiasm, marking a new phase of development.
Over the past two and a half years, Zadig 1.0 has earned the trust and support of over 26,000 enterprises, releasing 21 open source versions and 10 enterprise versions. Our team has also written 157 in-depth technical articles, produced 52 innovative videos, and established close partnerships with over 100 industry leaders worldwide. These achievements are the result of the team's relentless efforts and the close collaboration of our partners.
Today, Zadig is no longer a newborn in the startup phase but has grown into a confident teenager. It has become an indispensable part of the daily work of thousands of enterprises and teams, helping them improve their work efficiency and enjoy the joy of their work.
To further drive innovation, we have decided to merge the open source Zadig with the enterprise version ZadigX, fully opening up the enterprise version features and providing a one-click trial. At the same time, we have made a significant decision to 100% open the server-side source code. Additionally, we will launch a brand new documentation site and beginner-friendly online tutorials to help users more easily master Zadig.

The server-side code has been fully open-sourced on GitHub, and the functional differences between the basic and commercial versions will be distinguished through licensing. For those already using it on a large scale, we provide a smooth upgrade and a 30-day free trial of the commercial version features. After the trial period, the data will be retained, and the basic functions will remain available.
